Our Vision and Our Mission
Hugs for Ghana is an entirely student-led 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting and to encouraging children in Ghana, West Africa through creative grassroots projects and collected gift item donations.
Our History
Initially founded in 2007 as a means of donating gently used stuffed animals to children in Ghana, West Africa, over the years Hugs for Ghana has grown from that first charitable purpose to an organization focused on aiding youth and children in Ghana and in local communities of Washington state.
